Having someone close to you that you love dearly serve in the military is never easy. My husband is currently serving his second tour in Iraq each has been a year and a half long. Being an army wife is the second hardest job after being a mom. There are alot of misconceptions about military spouses which may be true in some cases but dont think for a minute that we have it easy. We go months to years without being held or kissed by our husbands we rely in phone calls and emails and when the phone calls or emails stop for even a day or two we can only hope for the best and pray that they are safe. If you know any military spouse please dont be afraid to lend a helping hand or a shoulder to lean on and even an ear to listen. It would be greatly appreciated.
